1.0 M Cadmium Nitrate (also referred to as 300 g/L)

Preparation
1.0 M Cadmium Nitrate (also referred to as 300 g/L)
- Dissolve 308 grams of cadmium nitrate in about
800 mL of distilled water contained in a 1-litre
volumetric flask. - Dilute to volume with distilled water and mix.
- Dissolve 200 grams of cadmium nitrate in about
800 mL of distilled water contained in a 1-litre
volumetric flask. - Using a graduated cylinder, carefully add 20 mL of
concentrated nitric acid. - Dilute to volume with distilled water and mix.
